Shimla and the snow-capped slopes of Manali are great places to experience colonial Himachal. Don't miss out on the trekking, paragliding, skiing, and other adventure activities at Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley if you're an adrenaline junkie. Visit Mcleodganj, the Dalai Lama's home, to experience a bit of Buddhist culture. It is home to stunning Tibetan temples and monasteries. Amid expansive meadows, deep forests, tumbling waterfalls, foggy mountains, and more, Dalhousie is ideal for a relaxing vacation. Last but not least, Kasol, known as the Amsterdam of India, is a more unusual location for campers and hikers.
Connectivity:
Train: A crucial rail link that runs from Pathankot in Punjab to Jogindernagar in Himachal is the Kangra Valley Railway. To go to their desired location from here, one could take a local bus or rent a taxi.
The Kalka (Haryana)-Shimla (Himachal) train connexion is another beautiful rail route. This route's toy railway has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
