Royal Rajasthan on Wheels

You would be visiting Delhi, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Sawai, Madhopur, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Varanasi or Benaras, Agra and back to New Delhi. This tour covers about 2411 km in total. Tour duration is for 8 days and 7 nights. This luxury train does not run throughout the year. It is available only between October and April. This is the peak tourist season and all natural elements in the tour would be at its prime beauty.

About The Train This is the luxury train of the country with decor of royal havelies and palaces. The décor reminds you of the heritage and riches of the country. Your cabin will be decorated with opulent draperies, authentic silk bed spreads, antique upholstery, majestic carpets and many others with soft gradient of Rajasthan. This train can be explained in one word as elegant.
Cabin
There are about 13 cabins in this train with many services like in-room safe, attached bathroom with toiletries, temperature control remote, Wi-Fi, channel music and many others. There are two types of cabins in this train, namely; the Bravura suite and the extraordinary suite. Apart from the cabins, train also has some common lounges like a restaurant, souvenir shop, spa, guest lounge and many others. The segregation of the salons:
The salons are named as palaces in Rajasthan namely Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Kishori Mahal, Padmini Mahal and so on. The Bravura Salon is the super deluxe salon with the most number of services and amenities. Cuisine and Dining
The rain has two restaurants with bars namely; Sheesh Mahal and Swarn Mahal. They serve cuisines from various parts of the world namely Chinese, Continental and Indian. Sheesh Mahal has a great décor with floor lamps, crystal pelmets and others. The colour theme of this restaurant is aquatic blue. The Swarn Mahal is an Indian styled restaurant with chandeliers and gold inspired décor. Each restaurant has fully stocked bar with exotic wines and other booze. Spa
You can retire in the spa lounge where you would be provided a lot of different types of massages and treatments in the laps of luxury and ultimate comfort. There are professionals who would care your skin, hair and rejuvenate you for the next day of touring.

Souvenir
The souvenir shop has a large collection of exotic Rajasthan items like handicrafts, leather products and others. There are other souvenirs from the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels like beer mugs, apparels, accessories and others.

Recreation
The cabins have many indoor game options for you to spend some time while travelling.

Itinerary

DAY 01 : DELHI
After you reach the Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi, you would be escorted into the train. If you are a bit early to the station, you can check into any hotel nearby the station or go for some sightseeing around the station. Dinner would be served onboard as the train starts its travel towards Jodhpur.

DAY 02 : JODHPUR
By morning of day 2, you would be at Jodhpur. This city is located in Thar Desert, Rajasthan. This city is also called as the Sun City. By 9 AM, after breakfast onboard, you would start your sightseeing tour which includes Jaswant Thada, Ummaid Bhavan, Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur Market and if time permits; other attractions nearby too. You will have lunch in a palace hotel and get back to your cabin in train by early evening. You will have your dinner onboard. While you rest, the train slowly starts its journey towards Udaipur.

DAY 03 : UDAIPUR/ CHITTORGARH
Udaipur is also called as the city of lakes. By 7 AM you would reach this city. You would have your breakfast in your cabin and start your sightseeing very early. You would visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, City Palace, Lake Pichola and others. After boating on the lake, you would reach a palace hotel for your lunch. You would reach your cabin by early afternoon. Train starts its journey to Chittorgarh where you would visit the fort of Chittorgarh which is the largest fort in the country and is a heritage site. In evening you would watch the light and sound show in the fort and have a snack in a nearby restaurant. You would reach your cabin by late evening and you will have your dinner onboard. The train starts its journey to Sawai Madhopur.

DAY 04 : SAWAI MADHOPUR/ JAIPUR
Train reaches Sawai Madhopur by early morning. You would start your sightseeing very early for jungle safari in the famous Ranthambore National Park. You would reach your cabin for breakfast as the train leaves towards Jaipur. Once your reach Jaipur, you would start your sightseeing. Top destinations in Jaipur are the Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, City Palace and if time permits, you would visit other hill forts in the city. You would reach your cabin for tea and other refreshments. You would spend you late evening in the train enjoying the amenities. After dinner, you would enjoy a cultural program in the train as the train leaves Jaipur and heads towards Khajuraho.

DAY 05 : KHAJURAHO
You would have your breakfast in train and start sightseeing in Khajuraho by morning. You would visit the group of temples. This would take the whole morning and a part of afternoon. You would have your lunch at any palace hotel. After lunch, you would set out towards the southern group of Khajuraho temples. You would return to your cabin by evening. Refreshments would be served and you would watch the light and sound show in the evening. Train starts its journey towards Varanasi by night. Dinner would be served in the train.

DAY 06 : VARANASI
After the train reaches Varanasi, you would start your sightseeing tour. You would enjoy your early morning boat ride on the river Ganges and then reach your cabin for breakfast. You would leave to Sarnath on road where you would explore certain temples of Buddhism. You would have lunch in any hotel and get back to the train. You would have a few hours of relaxing in the train and you would start towards the ghats to watch evening rituals. You would also be shopping in the market and enjoying some temples, if time permits and each your cabin for dinner. As you rest, the train would start towards Agra.

DAY 07 : AGRA
You will reach Agra by early morning. You would walk into the city after having breakfast onboard. You would start your sightseeing which includes Taj Mahal, Itmad-ud-daulah tomb and many others. After lunch in a hotel in the city, you would return back to sightseeing. After enjoying a light and sound show, you would retreat to your cabin. You would have your dinner onboard as the train leaves to New Delhi.

DAY 08 : DELHI
Train reaches the Safdarjung Railway Station by 4 in the morning. Breakfast would be served onboard and after dinner, you would undergo the formalities of checkout and farewell. You can choose the international airport in Delhi for your departure flight or stay in Delhi and continue your vacation.
